Titanium Dioxide: This naturally occurring mineral is used as a pigment to create bright, opaque shades. It's especially important for providing sun protection, as it effectively blocks UV rays. Our Brand Partners use non-nano Titanium dioxide, which is safe and non-toxic, making it ideal for sensitive skin around the eyes and incidental ingestion on the lips.

Iron Oxides: These mineral-based pigments are responsible for the rich, earthy tones in makeup. Iron oxides are naturally occurring compounds and are used to create a range of colors from reds to yellows and browns. They are also hypoallergenic and safe for use on even the most delicate skin.

In addition to iron oxides, Ferric Ferrocyanide (CI 77510) and Ultramarines (CI 77007) are natural pigments often used in cosmetics. While not technically iron oxides, Ferric Ferrocyanide creates blue tones, and Ultramarines offer blue, pink, violet, and green hues.
